My name is Zama Dladla I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Pretoria. My practice is situated on 258B Jean Ave, Die Hoewes, Centurion, and I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an independent Clinical Psychologist.
My full name is Zamahlophe, which is a Zulu name that means belonging to the Hlophe clan. I am a Psychotherapist passionate about belonging as well as human connection; belonging to self, healthy connections with others, and repairing disconnections with self and others.
My practice is predominantly therapy based where I assist clients with varying emotional and psychological challenges such as: depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, mood disorders, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, life adjustment, relationship issues, sexual dysfunction, sexuality, personality disorders, and sexual abuse.
Additionally, I am open to assisting corporate companies – providing talks and group trainings tailored for the needs (conflict resolution, staff development, stress management and emotional functioning: vulnerability, need expression, group functioning) of the company. I offer school talks for teachers and parents on requested topics. On request, I do keynote speaking, presentations, and expert panel discussions on radio and other forms of media platforms. I contribute to journalistic articles on request for magazines and newspapers on request. I also provide mentorship to aspiring psychologists.
I am most fulfilled when I am able to walk with a client through distress, and gradually seeing them achieve relief and balance in their life.
